Conflict Skills Workshop
This one-night class is a beginning level workshop for anyone desiring training in conflict resolution. Topics covered will include approaches to conflict, listening skills, brain storming solutions, dealing with anger. No prerequisites.

Cost: $20 (sliding scale scholarships based on income available)
English session date/time: Monday, September 21, 5:30-9:30pm (Two Rivers Market, downtown Albany)

The Parent Project
This class is an eight week seminar for parents interested in learning new skills to help their at-risk children. This class is designed specifically for parents of children with truancy, runaway, gang, drug and alcohol issues to prepare them for a successful school experience in middle or high school and to create a more effective, consistent home discipline structure.  We are excited to offer this class specifically featuring creative alternatives to conventional parenting for at-risk youth, and believe that it may be helpful to your clients who are parents.

Cost: maximum fee of $100 (scholarships available), $20 for the workbook

Parents Forever
This research-based program of the University of Minnesota Extension Service is designed to help parents learn how to make informed, child-supportive decisions during a divorce or separation. The results are healthy children and positive parent-child relationships. Topics covered will include: the impact of divorce upon children, legal issues and the role of mediation in divorce and establishing parenting plans, the impact of divorce upon adults, and communication skills and other tools useful for starting life anew.
